President-Stacy Heerin

I was born in Cartersville but grew up in DeLand, Florida. I moved to Atlanta after college with friends and have never looked back. My first apartment was in Sandy Springs, and after a few years of living everywhere from Buckhead to Alpharetta, I was happy to move back to Sandy Springs in 2006 when my husband and I bought a house in Riverside. After being a stay at home for 14 years and enjoying my time being with the kids full time and volunteering, I am currently enjoying working part time for Cox Communications. An ideal day for me would be to play tennis with friends and then enjoy a dinner out with my family at one of the many great restaurants in Sandy Springs. We love the sense of community in Riverside! When we moved to Riverside our daughter was starting kindergarten at HFE and we met so many great friends. It has been fun to watch those kindergarteners grow up together, graduate high school and then move on to college. Our family has enjoyed meeting families like ours with school aged kids as well as getting to know some of the original owners, now empty nesters. I joined the HOA board a few years ago because I wanted to get involved and try to help figure out a way to help calm the traffic. The team we have now is amazing and we are looking forward to growing our presence in the neighborhood and building that sense of community!
